In a shocking turn of events, a politician made a logical argument on a topic, and politicians on the other side listened and voted against their own party’s bill.
Rep. Andy Schwartz just did a good thing in Wyoming and more of the media should cover it. During the introduction of a House bill from Rep. Chuck Gray, a Casper Republican, calling for a ban on critical race theory Rep Schwartz had something to say.
Conservatives nationwide are seeking to ban “critical race theory,” once a term legal scholars used to define the structural effects of racism, but now is being used to get people to freak out to distract from larger issues.
“In this bill, page 9, line 19 states, ‘The teaching of history must be neutral, without judgment,” Schwartz said. “Now, how can that be possible? If I were a Native American, I doubt I could accept the neutral, judgment-free approach about the relocation, the decimation of the Indigenous population. If I were a Black American, I doubt I could accept a neutral, judgment-free approach to the enslavement of millions of Americans. But I’m Jewish, and I cannot accept a neutral judgment-free approach on the murder of six million Jews in World War II.”
Watch the video at 1:10:40 there’s applause for Rep Schwartz even:
After a Jewish lawmaker, Rep. Andy Schwartz, gave a powerful speech, Wyoming’s conservative legislature rejected banning critical race theory
The bill to ban CRT In Wyoming got 35 votes, a majority, but not the 2/3 needed to pass.
Maybe we have been wasting our time paying attention to CRT like it is evil? Seems like all the effort put into this bill could be put towards something more useful.
Good news is if there’s hope in Wyoming there can be hope anywhere!
The House just defeated a bill that would have banned critical race theory in schools after a powerful speech by Representative Schwartz, a Jewish man who refuses to learn about the holocaust in a neutral manner.

Thank God all these Jewish media outlets picked this story up, so we saw it and can help spread the word. Maybe FOX News, CNN, and others corporate media should cover it to?
